Caregiver Connect – A Hope Grows/JAA programme that supports carer wellbeing is called as Caregiver Connect.
It was created at the Charles Morris Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation with carers in mind. It is distinctive in that it enables carers to invest some time and effort in their own wellbeing.
Caregiver Connect is better able to offer care and maintain their mental, physical, and emotional health throughout challenging caregiving situations thanks to the partnership between JAA and Hope Grows. Along the caregiver’s journey, Caregiver Connect offers helpful self-care and encouraging communication tools that act as seeds of hope. We are a regional registry of registered nurses working with about 150 pre-screened, liability-insured nurses. For a placement fee, clients directly employ nurses.
Clients and carers jointly establish all the terms of their contracts, including obligations and pay, in our model, which we call consumer-centered care.
From companionship to hospice, the independent Caregiver Connect offers all tiers of personal care. We specialise in delivering long-shift (8-12 hours), overnight, and 24-hour care for patients receiving comfort/end-of-life care as well as individuals with long-term illnesses. Additionally, they only have a few carers available for brief shifts, but we will try our best to fill those positions as soon as they become available.

Mentorship Program For Caregiver Connectors
It can be challenging, unknown, and terrifying to become a caretaker after learning that a loved one has prostate cancer. They can let you know if you’re conducting proper research on therapies, posing the right questions, and assisting you in efficiently handling adverse effects. You can start to worry about making time for yourself, approaching others for assistance, and arriving at work on time.
Although every prostate cancer caregiver’s path is unique, we recognise that it makes sense to seek out a professional who has worked in this area. The Caregiver Connector Program, a peer support programme for both carers and those who have lost loved ones to prostate cancer, was created by ZERO to facilitate these interactions.
Peer help does not constitute medical advice. Instead, it enriches and complements other health treatments by offering the emotional, social, and practical support required for the journey of the prostate cancer carer.
We offer on-going, individualised support from a carer mentor to carers of men with prostate cancer through the Caregiver Connection programme. The mentors at ZERO Caregiver Connect have looked after your parents, husband, children, grandparents, friends, and neighbours. They are also qualified to help you. Mentors from Caregiver Link can share their expertise to assist carers in taking care of themselves and their loved ones.
We prioritise based on your main concerns and preferences to get the greatest match. Let’s pair those who have lost loved ones to prostate cancer with carer mentors who have also experienced the loss of a loved one.
For greater flexibility in accommodating your scheduling needs, you have the choice of communicating with your mentor tutor by phone or email. You may rely on your carer to talk to you, hear about your experiences, comprehend your difficulties, and offer you assistance.
The Confident Caregiver Method helps you:
- get ready for care
- build your team
- Become an independent caregiver
- Cultivate loving conversations
- Anticipating life after breastfeeding
Caregiver Connect Support Group
An ongoing online support network called Caregiver Connect was created to assist carers in balancing the challenges and rewards of their role. Everyone who helps or actively cares for another person is welcome.
Caregiver Link offers information, assistance, and support. The group offers a secure setting where carers can exchange tales with other people who are also providing care. This support group is free to join. The support group will operate online. Registration in advance is necessary.
